It’s time to try a vodka martini with a twist. A French Martini is slightly sweet with notes of raspberry and pineapple.
Many fruity martini recipes are way too sweet for my liking, but the French Martini Cocktail is perfectly proportioned. The Chambord brings the sweetness to this cocktail, but the pineapple juice balances that with it’s tart acidity. For best results, use the freshest pineapple juice you can find.
A French Martini is perfect for your next cocktail hour. It’s a delicious twist to a classic vodka martini.
FAQS:
The addition of Chambord is what gives this martini its name.
Chambord is a French liqueur made with raspberry, blackberry, and blackcurrant flavor. I also use it in a Peanut Butter and Jelly Martini and Chocolate Raspberry Martini.
If you’re using mixers, such as in the French Maritini, simply use a decent brand of unflavored vodka that you enjoy. I tend to go for Tito’s. However, if you want to stick with the French theme for this cocktail, then try Grey Goose or Cîroc. Check out Thrillist’s article The Best Vodka for Mixing Cocktails for more ideas.
FRENCH MARTINI INGREDIENTS:
- Vodka: Use any unflavored vodka that you enjoy.
- Chambord: Adds raspberry flavor to the martini.

HOW TO PREPARE A FRENCH MARTINI COCKTAIL:
- This is a simple cocktail to prepare.
- Simply add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker over ice, then shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
