This Peanut Butter and Jelly Martini will reintroduce your adult self to your inner child. It’s a little sweet, with a kick for balance from the whiskey, and not just a little bit addicting. An optional PB&J on the side is highly recommended.
As with any martini, you can serve this one straight up or on the rocks. I chose to shake mine over ice and serve it straight up so as not to dilute the martini too much. However, if you like to keep your drinks ice cold, feel free to serve your Peanut Butter and Jelly Martini over ice.
However you serve it, I’m sure it will make you smile—and maybe even smack your lips just a bit. 😉
FAQS:
I used Skrewball Peanut Butter American Whiskey. It has a toasted peanut flavor with a bit of vanilla and sweetness to it. It’s also delicious on its own served on the rocks. I’ve also seen Sheepdog Peanut Butter Flavored Whiskey and Ole Smoky Peanut Butter Flavored Whiskey; however, I have not tried the latter two brands so cannot attest to their taste.
Chambord is a raspberry flavored liqueur and gives this cocktail its beautiful color. While I recommend Chambord in this recipe, you could also substitute Creme de Cassis which has flavors of raspberry, blackberry, and black currant. Razzmatazz is also a similar flavor to Chambord. I also use Chambord in a French Martini and Chocolate Raspberry Martini.
Frangelico is a hazelnut flavored liqueur. If you don’t have Frangelico, you could substitute Amaretto, which is an almond flavored liqueur.
HOW TO PREPARE A PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY MARTINI:
- Martinis are an easy cocktail to prepare with the option of serving either “up” or “on the rocks”.
- If you’re serving your martini up, add about a cup of ice cubes to a shaker. Pour the whiskey, Chambord, and Frangelico over the ice, cover the shaker, and shake for about 10 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a martini glass, and enjoy.
- If you prefer your martini on the rocks, simply measure the alcohols into a rocks glass (typically a 10-ounce glass), fill with ice, and stir gently to combine the liquors.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS FOR PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY MARTINI:
If you like to rim your martinis, I have two delicious options for you:
- Mix equal parts coconut sugar and peanut powder on a small plate. Dip the rim of the martini glass in a little grenadine or simple syrup, then dip again in the sugar mixture.
- Mix equal parts crushed graham cracker with coconut sugar on a small plate. Dip the rim of the martini glass in a little grenadine or simple syrup, then dip again in the sugar and graham mixture.

RECIPE NOTES:
- I like to use coconut sugar rather than refined white sugar, but either can be used for rimming the glasses.
- I used PB2 Peanut Powder for rimming this martini.
