Mango Salsa is definitely my new favorite. It has a touch of sweetness from the mangos and a kick of spice from the jalapeños, making it the perfect stand alone dip, or use it to top all your favorite tacos and nachos.
Living in south Florida definitely has its perks when it comes to mangos. It seems like half my friends have mango trees in their backyards—if not a mango tree, then an avocado tree. Not even gonna lie, I absolutely love when they share the wealth with me. But, what do you do when one of those friends brings you a bag of ten fresh mangos?
Well, Mango Salsa of course! (And Mango Coladas 😉) It’s quick, easy, and oh so yummy. Your friends and family will thank you for sharing with them. Fair warning though, they’ll probably keep asking you to make it again, and again, and again….

Store in an air tight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
Absolutely, but while the salsa will still be sweet, substitutions always change the flavor profile. Other delicious fruit options include pineapple or peaches.
HOW TO PREPARE MANGO SALSA:
- Begin by prepping your veggies. Finely chop the mango, tomatoes and jalapeño, and add them to a medium sized bowl.
- Next, rough chop the red onion, garlic cloves, and cilantro. Add to a food processor, and pulse until very finely chopped. Just be careful to pulse so that you can control how chopped they get. You don’t want to end up with a paste. Add the alliums and cilantro to the bowl.
- Squeeze in the juice of one lime, along with salt and pepper to taste to the bowl, and gently stir everything together well.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving to allow the flavors to develop.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS FOR MANGO SALSA:
- Put it in a bowl, and dip blue corn tortilla chips in it. Yep, pretty much my favorite snack ever. 🤣
- Add it to your Cinco de Mayo menu.
- Top your favorite nachos or tacos with it—like my favorite Shrimp Tacos.
- Serve it in an avocado boat.
- Add along side eggs for breakfast, such as Spaghetti Squash Egg Muffins.

MANGO SALSA NOTES:
- Refrigerating for an hour before serving allows the flavors to fully incorporate together.
- Either fresh or pickled jalapeños can be used in this recipe. I’ve made it with both.
- Adjust the heat of this salsa by adding more or less jalapeño. The amount indicated produces a mild salsa.

Thanks! I like the combo also. It's delicious with peaches, too!
